I love this idea - and it looks like I’m not the only one! Overwhelmed With Joy started a book exchange, and it’s causing quite a stir among those who love to read (count me in!). She calls her book giveaway “Pay It Forward Book Exchange.”

Here’s the deal . . .

Once a month she picks a book to give away to a lucky reader (you don’t have to have a blog to enter). It may be a book that she’s purchased new or used, or it may be a book that someone has shared with her that she really likes.

All she asks is . . .

If you’re the lucky winner of the book giveaway and you have your own blog, you host a drawing to give that book away for free to one of your readers - after you’ve had a chance to read it. If a non-blogger wins the book, she asks that you please consider donating the book to your local library or shelter after you’re done with it. I’d like to add that church libraries are always looking for good reading material.
