Nice explanation. Thank you ru4real. Since I am from India, I am seeing a lot of hindus, muslims with good qualities. Someone helped me a lot ways as friends, but they don't accept Jesus. So I asked this question. What can I do for them ? Anyway thanks for your nice & true reply.

@ Prabhu: Your question is one that is often asked, and rightly so because it is so very important. I hope I can explain it so that you understand better ...

In the first chapter of Genesis, God's Word tells us that HE created Heaven, and elsewhere in Scripture we learn the it is His dwelling place. Because it is HIS home, He gets to choose what He will and will not allow there. In Revelation, God tells us that He has chosen not to allow evil things to enter His Heaven.

But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
~ Revelation 21:27

His Word is clear that He wants His Heaven to be pure and undefiled, and that He wants us to live together with Him in His beautiful and perfect kingdom. Did you notice, in the above verse, that God says He will not allow a person who tells lies to come into His Heaven? I know you said you are a very good, moral person, who is not doing sin, but ask yourself if you have ever told a lie. Even a small lie?

Or what about this?

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
~ James 4:17

Have you ever failed to do something you knew you should have done? I think we would all have to confess that we have sinned, according to this standard.

So you see, it isn't that God wants to send people to Hell, rather He wants to keep His kingdom beautiful, safe, and pure. That's why He refuses to allow evil things into Heaven. Look at this verse:

Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death. Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
~ Psalms 68:20-21

See how faithfully God protects His heavenly home? I'm glad to know that He is determined to keep evil things out of Heaven, because that insures all believers that we will spend eternity in a home that is carefully protected by a loving God, who will not allow harm to come upon us.

How does Jesus fit into this picture? John 14:6 tells us that the only way we can get to where God lives is through Jesus' sacrifice for our sin.

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to ALL who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
~ Rom 3:22-23

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
~ 1 John 1:5-10

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
~ Act 3:19-20

I heard that since only Jesus can save human from hell, the people who dies without Christ will certainly go to hell, even they are having very very good moral nature, not doing sins, not doing anything harmful to others. Why God punish the good people in hell, only for not knowing Him, as a reason ?
