I read your post on reading the Bible. I think it's wonderful that you're studying with your daughter. We had the privilege of homeschooling our boys, and we read through the Bible with them, also memorizing large portions. We had them use The Living Bible during school, then bought them each a good study Bible for their High School graduation gift. That worked well. I enjoyed your posts! God speaks only one language , the one He has revealed in His Word... no other language will do ! My daughter is in French Immersion -- because educators have found the best way to learn a language is to be 'immersed' in it. How wonderful if all Christians would 'immerse' themselves in God's Word. A very effective analogy …. to communicate there is nothing more important than speaking the same language !
