I wonder why we so often thank God for His blessings, but rarely ask Him how He wants us to use them. I’m making a commitment to ask His opinion! What about you?
Keeping it real,

HA! Now isn’t that an interesting thought. I never once thought to ask how He wanted me to use them. Well, guess I’m just going to mend my ways. And here I was going off just full of myself.
hi
………thanks for the encouraging words on my blog. I do plan on continuing with my journey and never going back to the unhealthy me. I want to be an example to my kids and that is where I was lacking the most.
I should ask God today what I should be doing with all this great new found energy he has given me. Maybe I have more surprises ahead
It is delightful to find a person that has a genuine relationship with God.
Too many people see God as religion, dogma or church and miss the entire point.
God is an experience, a relationship something very personal and profound.
Great blog. Keep up the good work.
Be loved!
Hi Tammie – I like this. A short thought provoking post. Asking God for his opinion is a fabulous idea.
@ KathiS: Yes! It struck me that very same way.
@ Annette: Good for you! I am encouraged by your determination.
@ Buddha of Hollywood: I really enjoy my relationship with God. I’m so glad that comes through in my writing.
@ Barbara Swafford: Thank you for you encouragement, I really value your opinion!
Tammie, you had a fabulous question for us to consider. One of the reasons I so love visiting other people’s blogs is the fact that we all think differently. I love to see what is on other people’s hearts and then apply it to myself.
Your question provoked me to realized that I don’t really ask God what He wants me to do with my blessings. I ask Him what to do in situations but not what to do in blessings … I’m going to have to talk this over with Him…
Thanks for visiting my blog. It’s interesting that you have reviewed Rex. I think it takes a very special person to be the mom of a challenged child, one that can be confrontational and fight for her child if need be. Cathleen Lewis can certainly do that!
All too true. Sometimes it best to just stand still for a moment and let the brain percolate through to see if I can pin point what it is that I’m really supposed to be doing.
BEst wishes
@ Jerri: Sounds like you and I were the same … asking Him what to do in situations, but not what to do in blessings. Then I heard someone praying out loud, and it struck me just like I wrote it here. That thought has changed my prayers forever.
@ Maddy: It is so important to consider how we can be the best steward of what we have been given.
