It’s sad, isn’t it, when the fish on your shirt is
bigger than the catch of the day!
Aug 2008 - I took this pic of hubby last fall when we were camping at Okatibee Lake. We had great fun spending time together and laughing about our pitiful fishing skills. Needless to say, we had burgers for dinner that evening, instead of fish!
Keeping it real,

that is too funny! i hate it when all you catch are little bitty ones! he looks happy though!
That’s so funny, thanks for the LOL!
That is absolutely hilarious!! Looks like when our relatives in Iowa took my hubs “froggin’” at the family reunion. They took buckets for “all the frogs” they were going to get and came back with two tiny one in a plastic cereal size bowl!! Men!
That is funny. It looks bigger than any fish I have ever caught.I don’t fish though.
Happy ATWT!
awww, what a cute little guy!! the fish is cute too
That’s funny stuff.
LOL, that is a fabulous shot and too funny about the size of the fish on the shirt!
LOL! That brings back some good memories.
I think the best catch is the one in the red shirt. I think you should keep him !!! smile
@ Bree: He was happy! It was all about spending time together more than it was about eating fish. I don’t even like to eat fish!
@ Faith: It really WAS worth a good laugh!
@ Angela: I’m giggling about your ‘frog hunters’!
@ Catherine: You might notice that I didn’t mention catching any fish myself …. at least he did better than me!
@ jsprik: I have to agree!
@ Heather: Glad to make you giggle!
@ Jen: It was TOO funny when I was setting up the shot and noticed the fish on his shirt. I KNEW it would find it’s way to my blog one day!
@ Angela: LOL, we have lots of memories of ‘catch and release’ sized fish, but not many of the ‘big ones’.
@ Julie: You are SO right, and that’s EXACTLY what I’m going to do!
That is too funny.
Visiting from the Photo Story Friday posts…
This was too funny! But he looks so darn happy!
What a great chuckle! He-he! I love it!
Hee hee that is cute ! I think my hubby and I laugh at our curling skills like you did with your fishing skills. We have a game tonight.

How funny! He caught bait, hopefully for a much bigger fish.
That’s a keeper! Hubby, not the fish.
Hilarious!
You know it’s a good day fishing, when your fish is smaller than your bobber.
Sardines?! Yum!
